Hedgehog Friendly Campus First Aid & Surveying Workshops

Important Update – 17/03/20

Unfortunately, we will be rescheduling our upcoming Environment team events. As the University moves to online teaching and as we’d like for as many staff & students to be able to attend these events, such as the Hedgehog First Aid Talk and CLEANHub launch, we have taken the decision to postpone them to a later date.

Please do continue to support our sustainability communications calendar and the subsequent campaigns listed below:

The University of Lincoln Hogfriendly team invites you to learn about Hedgehog First Aid and How to Survey for them!

If you’re passionate about helping our native hedgehogs, this Hedgehog First Aid talk will be right for you. Jo Wilkison, from Hedgehog Friendly Campus, will be delivering a presentation on how you can recognise when a hedgehog may be in trouble and what you can do to assist them.

Want to learn how to survey for hedgehogs? We’re looking for volunteers on the Brayford Campus to learn how to make survey tunnels and to monitor where our prickly pals get to on campus!

Jo Wilkinson (Hedgehog Friendly Campus) will be delivering a workshop on how to create survey tunnels and to monitor them at the University. All materials will be provided (but please note in this case tunnels will be used to monitor our hedgehog population at the Brayford in the near future).
